Wednesday 27th October 2021: With COP26 just around the corner, this Month’s Newsletter has more focus on the upcoming Greenest County Awards as well as all of the latest news from the Carbon Charter network.

There is also a particular focus on the team at Babergh & Mid Suffolk Council with a special report on the incredible success of their Local Energy Showcase at Wherstead Park near Ipswich on the 21st and 22nd October.
Over the Thursday and Friday, this conference championed the culture of sustainability across the area. Local businesses, communities and national organisations took the chance to demonstrate the brilliant work they have done to reduce their impact on the environment and conntinue down the road of becoming net zero.
There was also a chance to look around the electric vehicles on display outside and, for the particularly brave, the opportunity to try out an electric bike or scooter…
