Tuesday 22nd February 2022: There is a world of condiments on display from this week’s Twitter focus.
Newly joined with the Carbon Charter, Essence Foods are based near Dereham in Norfolk and make artisan foods to sell online and at their cafe, called The Old Dairy.
They use natures harvest with botanicals as the source of inspiration and offer a range of original and unique recipes, some of which would surprise you. (Did you know that Beetella healthy Chocolate Spread existed?)
In addition to this strong environmental focus they are also sourcing renewable electricity via their supplier, sourcing ingredients from local suppliers wherever possible and minimising packaging waste.
