Thursday 11th April 2024: Once again, the Electric Vehicle EXperience day was back at Trinity Park, Ipswich. Only this time it was bigger and better, as well as busier, than ever before.
Thanks to everyone who came along to visit and experience this iconic gathering of all the information and experience someone would need to make the switch from old-fashioned fossil fuel vehicles to the new cleaner tech electric transport.
On arrival, to the music from the great local station GenX Radio, who had an outside broadcast covering the event, visitors were welcomed in and could wander around almost every manufacturer who’s cars were represented by dealerships offering test drives.
As well as the chance to get hands on with the cars themselves, there were lively panel discussions at the lunchtime sessions and lots of stands with experts to answer any questions.
There was a strong Motability presence and what a fantastic chance for everyone to try vehicles that they wouldn’t usually have so close together in such a relaxed but helpful environment.
But it was the test drives people had really come along for with the perimeter track around the outside of Trinity Park filled with car after car being demonstrated. From the tiny Citroen Ami to the massive eArctros electric HGV there was something for everyone to try. Even the Tesla CyberQuad drew attention.
