Divided into morning and afternoon sessions, both of which were very well attended, the first hour consisted of talks from experts on diverse subjects such as tax benefits, charging technologies and the future capabilities of electric vehicles.
Then it was outside onto the test track. LET THE TEST DRIVES COMMENCE…
There were representative cars from various manufacturers such as Tesla, Hyundai, Porsche, Peugeot and Mercedes.
Even a quick circuit allowed drivers to get a feel for the ride and handling…
Some of the intrepid test drivers had not driven an EV at all until this day so it was a brilliant way to experience the rapid acceleration on offer from an electric drivetrain.
…and with the day turning out to be such lovely sunshine, the event was the most successful EVEX so far.
