A special report on the Carbon Charter Summer Garden Party
Nestling in the beautiful rolling countryside on the Norfolk/Suffolk border, this year’s Summer Event took place earlier this month and turned out to be one of the best gatherings in our long history.
The famous ‘Two-Hat’ Marquee was once again filled to capacity as nearly 100 attendees gathered to enjoy this flagship day in our annual calendar.
There were so many electric vehicles on show in the car park that a BLOG POST covers that aspect as a standalone subject and the text can also be read from the PRESS RELEASE for the event.
The welcome from our Host, Richard Seppings of Anglia Car Charging (See @Meet a Member’ in the Newsletter) was followed by a keynote speech by Michael Strand, of the Suffolk Wildlife Trust which addressed the crisis in Biodiversity our environment faces.
There were other talks by Ned Harrison on the end of the BEE Anglia Project and Luca Fesser of Team HODL (See ‘Outside the Box’ in the Newsletter).
The weather was perfect as it was warm tempered by some cloud cover and a gentle breeze to prevent it being too hot.
Our sincere thanks go to ANGLIA CAR CHARGING for hosting the event at their beautiful countryside location.
