Thursday 16th May 2024: In front of a select audience at the annual ADEPT conference in London last Thursday, the prestigious award of Delivering Clean Growth went to the Carbon Charter.
It was a real honour to be shortlisted but to achieve the top prize was a reflection of both the dedication of the Team behind the Project and the enthusiasm and commitment of the membership.
In recognising the UK-wide effect that the Charter is having on moving the economy towards the low carbon future, the ADEPT President spoke glowingly of how the businesses belonging to the Carbon Charter are showing what can be done to use the new focus on sustainability to improve procedures and customer loyalty.
This was a night when the new, incoming President made the traditional inaugural speech which included her aim of resilience for ADEPT going forwards and how the environment is a key part of that.
