Tuesday 4th May 2021: With a world of experience with supplying pulses, grains, flour & more to YOU from British Farms, we once again welcome Hodmedod’s to be our Charter Tuesday focus.
Hodmedods is a small but growing independent business, founded in 2012 to source and supply beans and other products from British farms. They’re committed to providing quality food from British farms that’s more sustainably produced.
The range of products includes beans, peas and quinoa with some items being roasted to provide very moreish ready-to-eat snacks. There are high quality flours and they can even supply oat milk as an alternative to dairy.
They also mentor other, similarly aspirational businesses and have a long term target of not just achieving net zero but moving beyond to become ‘net negative’. That is to say, to move their operations to the point where supplying their products absorbs more carbon than is released.
