Tuesday 14th January 2020: As strategic partners of the Carbon Charter, the East of England Co-op have led the way towards a low carbon future.
This week’s #CharterTuesday focus is on Fifers Lane Co-op in Norwich. They have done as much as they can to lower their already exemplary carbon footprint with shop local campaigns, changing refridgeration display units for more efficient designs with insulated doors and LED lighting throughout just a few of the innovations.
The area they really excel at is with local community engagement and the Co-op lets people donate food to local charities, or recycle cardboard, clothes at as many locations as possible.
